Okon Joseph at Olalomi Hispital, Ilorin, Kwara State Okon Joseph Bright, an orphan from Akwa Ibom State, 28 year - old - student of History and International Studies at the University of Ilorin is suffering spinal cord injury and needs 9 million for surgery in India so he can pursue his dreams again. His father died when he was three leaving him to grow up with his mother who later died of cancer in 2009 leaving Okon to fend for himself. He resorted to doing menial jobs so as to make a living. Okon sponsored his WASSCE examination from riding okada. He later got admitted to the University of Ilorin in 2013. While on vacation, he traveled to Lagos to work so he could pay his bills. On December 25th 2015, Okon traveled to work and source for the fund to pay for his field trip to Olomo Rock, Abeokuta, Ogun State in 300 level.
